The story of a photographer

Welcome! My name is Sabrina Donaldson. Just a normal extrovert with introvert tendencies. I believe, life always has a way of allowing you to do the things you desire and photography is one of those things for me.

I was born and (mostly) raised in Washington State. At the age of 15 I moved to the small(ish) town of Duncan, Oklahoma and have been here ever since. Since a young age, I have always had a love for photos. I started really acquiring the details of it when my first camera was gifted to me. I have over 25 years of photography under my belt, both hobbyist and professionally combined. I have ventured into all areas of photography to get a feel for what I am best at. I've done weddings, families, seniors, sports, and so much more. I did school and senior photography for a local studio for about 7 years. Eventually, I got burnt out. It happens. Thankfully, I have the most amazing and supportive husband who knew my love for photography and pushed me to get back into it.

God has blessed me with an ability that I find special to me, and I don’t want to waste it. I enjoy taking photos of anything outdoors; preferably nature, wildlife, and cars. To some, they just see everyday items. Some are flawless and in perfect shape, others dilapidated and run down. To me, I see something that can be transformed and hung on a wall to bring a room together. It can be the celebration of a building’s life well lived, the flicker of light through the brush, dramatic coloring in the sky, or the awe inspiring beauty in the details.

I want nothing more than for you to absolutely love a piece (or several) and want to hang them in your place. I am hoping that with a single photograph you can see and feel the emotions I had while capturing that particular moment. After all, that is what it’s all about!
